🌲 About the Park
Mono Cliffs Provincial Park is a day-use only provincial park on the Niagara Escarpment and a popular walking/hiking destination. It features scenic cliffs, cedar forests, ponds, and network of trails — including sections of the Bruce Trail (Canada’s longest footpath). It’s open year-round for hiking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing on the same trail system.
📌 Planning Your Visit
- Day use permit required: You must reserve a daily vehicle permit in advance (online or by phone) because capacity is limited; you’ll need this to enter the park by vehicle.
- Park access: Enter at 795086 Third Line EHS, Mono — show your permit at the gate.
- Best times: Park is busiest on summer and fall weekends; visiting on weekdays or in quieter seasons (fall shoulder, winter) reduces crowds.
