Lorne Scots Regimental Museum

The Lorne Scots Regimental Museum is dedicated to preserving and sharing the history of the Lorne Scots (Peel, Dufferin and Halton Regiment), a Primary Reserve infantry regiment of the Canadian Army.

Location: Brampton, ON

Season: Open for all seasons

The museum highlights the regiment’s involvement in key military operations from its formation in the 19th century through both World Wars, Korea, peacekeeping missions, and modern deployments.
The museum is housed in a heritage building and combines military artifacts, uniforms, medals, and documents to provide a comprehensive story of the regiment and its soldiers.

The museum is typically open year-round, but hours may be limited and guided tours often require appointments. Major events, commemorations, and school programs usually take place in spring, fall, or around national holidays like Remembrance Day. Checking their website or contacting the museum before visiting is recommended.
